Rapidly absorbed by the skin, approximately 61% of the fatty acids of Kiwi Seed Oil are essential omega-3 fatty acids. That implies the highest concentration among all commercially available oils. Yet, the minimum shelf life of the dispersion is 24 months which is quite a long time in comparison with other unsaturated oils. The golden oil is gained from the tiny seeds of the kiwifruit through cold-pressing – the oil is rare and expensive. Properties:

Para cress contains spilanthol (N-2-Isobutyl-2,6,8-decatrienamide).

Spilanthol reduces the muscle contractions of the mimic facial lines, and its relaxing influence causes a visible smoothing effect. The amino acids contained support the smoothing process by effectively retaining the skin moisture. In addition, the combination of the native liposomal phosphatidylcholine with DMS®-components adequately provides the skin with barrier substances. Although spilanthol belongs to the effective agents, the effects are only felt for a certain period of time, however it can be applied as a long term treatment due to the above mentioned characteristics.

Properties:

Composition:

The active concentrate contains a combination of the following extracts: Malva Sylvestris, Mentha Piperita, Primula Veris, Alchemilla Vulgaris, Veronica Officinalis, Melissa Officinalis and Achillea Millefolium , which are encapsulated in liposomes.

Properties:

Most of the extracts inhibit tyrosinase and formation of melanin. Liposomal encapsulation increases the efficacy and enables low dosage. Therefore the active concentrate may be applied for long term use. According to a recent publication there is an additional effect by linoleic acid which is chemically bound to liposomes. Whitening concentrate should applied preventively. The result can be observed after several weeks. A combination with vitamin C liposome concentrate is recommended, because there is a synergistic effect. An additional treatment with CM-Glucan (photoprotective) and Butchers Broom (against skin redness) may be useful.

Properties

Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) modulates the protein kinase inhibitor p57, which controls the formation of keratins and filaggrins in the skin. In this way more filaggrins are formed, skin thickness is increased and skin aging is slowed. People with irritated, reddened and cracked skin often suffer from filaggrin deficiency.

Collagenase inhibiting properties of EGCG are described in the literature too.

EGCG liposomes are used as well as anti-aging active agent as for treatment and regeneration of irritated, reddened and cracked skin.

Oleogel R contains vegetable oils, barrier protecting substances and azelaic acid, betulinic acid, Urea, frankincense extract, zinc salt and evening primrose oil on an ointment base free of water. The product penetrates very fast due to the content of natural phosphatidylcholine.

Properties:

Oleogel R is designed for care of sensitive facial skin. Often high dosages of lipids are wanted in this case. However the use of lipid-rich skin care products can be counterproductive – especially if anaerobic germs are present. Oleogel R possesses maximal lipid content without this disadvantage. Essential gamma linolenic acid, azelaic acid, boswellic acids and betulinic acid serve the supporting prevention of inflammatory skin reactions. Urea shows anti-itching effect, and zinc PCA additional antimicrobial activity. Already very small amounts of the product are sufficient at use, because Oleogel R is extremely economical in the care of impaired skin (three to fourfold efficacy of an emulsion).
